Dear LotroLife visitors we would like to invite you to join us outside of the gates of Bree for our first public casual comic shoot. We will be making one of our Casual LOTRO comics outside of the North Bree gate and we want you to join in on the fun and have your character featured in our latest Casual comic. We will be taking screenshots of a line of people queuing at a location we'll be announcing in game prior to the shoot.

I was so happy to be able to play music in LOTRO. It was a major selling point for me. I already imagined myself gathering huge crowds in front of the Prancing Pony with my impeccable performance of Stairway to heaven. Once I purchased my lute I found out the following - I have as much music in me as a rampaging Oliphaunt. Of course - it was not my fault that I can't keep a tune - it is my damn cheap keyboard I tell ya...

Is there a distinction between a warrior and his/her weapon? Does one exist without the other. Could have Aragorn be a hero without Anduril or Bilbo without his trusty Sting? Our heroine got a weapon in the last episode. I think it's time we see if that is the weapon that defines this hero.

Whether you think that we have become lazy or not (for the lack of new content in the past few days) here is a little preview of our next epic comic. The full version in all its glory should be made available very soon. The site changes are almost 100% as well so we should be making a few very nice announcements very soon.

One of the top reasons for true RP fans to play LOTRO is the availability of various RP activities. That wish to provide you with something more than loot hunting is what makes this game stand out. It's been a few heart stopping moments but it seems that everything is in order. The site has been sluggish at times and we are not sure if it's because of our code or our hosting server decided to play mind tricks on us but if you do notice anything out of the ordinary or you feel that some pages are loading slow or you notice anything that isn't behaving as expected please - I beg you - do let us know.

You might have noticed that we have slowed down a bit on our web comic production but there is a good reason for this. We have been working hard on implementing new features into the site. And we will be starting the testing and implementation of the new features very soon. If you notice that the site is acting abnormally or that some pages are not working properly - do not be afraid it just means that I have forgotten to close some brackets somewhere :). Please stay tuned as we plan on really following up on our name and providing you with everything concerning LOTRO Life(style).

I just came across this wonderful piece of morning entertainment while reading Trinity's Blog at female-gamer.com and really had a laugh.

The month of May 2007 has been filled with some extreme media hypes about recent pop culture phenomenons (the last Pirates of the Caribbean, latest Spiderman movie...), but among the gaming community a fair amount of pants got wet because of Blizzard's recent new game announcement.  Whole countries have had difficulties suppressing their excitement. Being a site dedicated to LOTRO Life(style) we had to make a comment about some of these happenings and Starcraft 2 is first in line to get it's comic :). (click the picture to see the comic)

It's time to send our heroes on their quest and what better place to get prepared for the dangers ahead than the weapon shop. I do admit that our shop keeper is not what you'd expect in a normal Middle Earth setting but we never did claim that we were normal now did we.
