This was the first website my wife and I started on our own. It was both a learning experience and a passion project. We never made any money on it, but what we've learned helped us immensely in the future.
I'm so glad that Lord of the Rings Online is still a game that functions. I'm sad the same can't be said about independent websites. With AI there's no point in us existing. Even the ~$25 yearly cost of this domain seems like a pointless expense.
So, I've decided to not pay it. This will make the website disappear after something like 18 years. That's better than most. It'll stay as a backup somewhere on my hard drive and in our memories.
