GamesAid is a new UK video games industry based charity. It distributes funds to a diverse range of charities; it is a means of giving something back on behalf of the industry. GamesAid announced its first company partners, including Codemasters, Eurogamer and Nintendo amongst others.

 How you can help? There’s a charity poker tournament at the Grosvenor Casino, Brighton during the Develop Conference & Expo in Brighton on the evening of Tuesday 14th July. As always, all levels of players are welcome. Players can register here.

I can't say that Lone-Lands was my "cup of tea". The main reason for this statement was my bad quest's organization. When I saw Reillan's Guide to Lone-Lands, I simply had to share it with you.

This guide is intended to push adventurers through Lone-lands content quickly and efficiently, so that they are not having to go back and grind the same mobs again or go to the same point again if possible. By following this guide, all your travel is maximized to take advantage of quest proximity.

This guide is intended for both Solo and Full-group questing. There is one rule to follow throughout this: unless I tell you to hunt for a specific mob, avoid all aggro.

Europe's biggest Fantasy Convention will be held from the 2nd to the 4th of October 2009. Tolkien and fantasy fans from all over the world will gather in the Maritim Hotel Bonn, Germany for the 8th Ring*Con.

Due to the great success of the first part of the movie trilogy, "Lord of the Rings – The Fellowship of the Ring" in the year 2001, Marcel Bülles from the "Deutsche Tolkiengesellschaft" and Stefan Servos, owner of the very successful website herr-der-ringe.film.de , had the idea to hold a Convention about this topic to bring “Lord of the Rings” more closer to the fans. The idea included that the participants should see actors on stage, get autographs, hear lectures by Tolkien experts and experience a fantastic weekend with like-minded people.

You can meet your favourite stars from „Lord of the Rings“, „Harry Potter“, „Twilight“ and other Fantasy movies and TV series, and you can ask them questions in the so-called panels (Question and Answer sessions). For Ring*Con 2009 we will present a variety of top-class celebrity guests for all of our interested visitors which will make your Ring*Con weekend one of the memorable highlights of your year:

Few weeks ago it was just a rumor but few days ago Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has officially announced Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest for Wii and DS in Autumn 2009. The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest is being developed for Wii by Headstrong Games and for Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2 and PSP (PlayStation Portable) system by TT Fusion.

The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest is the first of many different types of games we will be developing with the film and literary rights. The first title with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest, is set in a colorful, action-filled rendition of Middle-earth that will appeal to new and dedicated fans.

This is just a quirk of the appearance system. Some cloaks are set up one way, some cloaks another, and the dye preview window doesn't handle one of those cases correctly.
